Our Processes

We receive our whole birds from Iqbal Poultry who are Red Tractor approved as well as BRC registered and certified. The birds are moved in a red tractor approved vehicle which is refrigerated and kept at a low temperature of 4 degrees (or under) to keep the whole birds fresh for our customers. These birds are taken off the truck once received at Hak Pak and put straight into the intake fridge which is checked thoroughly throughout the day to make sure the temperature is below 4 degrees.  After this, when our line starts at 7am all our staff are checked by factory floor supervisors to make sure they are wearing the correct PPE before production starts. Our enhanced system eight line then cuts off the wings and legs and the staff debone the chicken breast. All of our products are packed in Red Tractor and BRC approved packaging that we get supplied from Lyburns (Boxes and Liners).

 

After our products are ready and palletized, they are moved into our dispatch fridge which again is kept below 4 degrees to increase the life expectancy of our products and give our customers the best products in the market. Our fridges are well maintained and serviced regularly by a company called EP refrigeration who have over 20 years experience in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry.

When the production is finished, these pallets are loaded onto a truck supplied to us from CS2 Transportation. CS2 transportation are certified to BRC Global Standards for storage and distribution services. Additionally, they are BRC AA Grade Accredited, members of Logistics UK, Members of the Cold Chain Federation and they bear the EC Health Mark. All the pallets are sent to our partner company Pakeezah Meats LTD where these products are then distributed.
